The governing board comprises the vice presidents of research from ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich, along with the head of dossier research at the Zurich University of the Arts, serving ex officio.

Selection Committee for Early-Career Fellowships
The selection committee consists of five representatives from the three supporting universities as well as the director and their deputy. Elected members of the selection committee are confirmed by the governing board and appointed as permanent associate fellows for a two-year tenure that can be renewed.
