A Shared Curiosity Beyond Disciplinary Boundaries
The Fellow Year 2026–2027 Has Started

This September, a new fellow year has started at the Collegium. Over the past three weeks, twenty-two new fellows have moved into the Semper Observatory. They will bring bold research, unexpected perspectives, and the kind of cross-disciplinary curiosity that defines the academic life at the Collegium.

While our early-career fellows and NOMIS Senior Fellows are in full-time residence at the Collegium, the senior fellows are academic guests at ETH Zurich, University of Zurich, or Zurich University of the Arts, spending one or more days per week with us. What unites them isn't a shared discipline, but a shared willingness to test their questions against unfamiliar ones.

Serenella Iovino, Thomas Tsang, Wendy K. Tam, and Nino Zhghenti will join the cohort in the upcoming months as senior fellows, and Fernanda Beigel and Monika Betzler as NOMIS Senior Fellows.
