Homa is a lecturer in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Isfahan. Her primary research interest lies in exploring the impact of intra-speaker variability in voice-identity perception and the effect of this variability on human and computer recognition performance. As a senior fellow at the Collegium Helveticum, she worked on factors affecting voice recognition by humans and machines.
