This exhibition features two innovative works that explore the artistic and scientific possibilities of liquid interfaces: Cosmodernism–The Abstract Beauty of Liquid Interfaces by Kamil Czapiga and LiquiFab–Crafting with Liquids in Weightlessness by Technion researchers. Together, these works challenge our understanding of materiality, structure, and the interplay between science and art, offering a fascinating glimpse into the creative potential of liquid interfaces.
LiquiFab
Crafting with Liquids in Weightlessness
Exhibits by Material Topology Research Lab and Fluidic Technologies Lab, Technion
Gallery
LiquiFab is an artistic extension of academic research into the fabrication of optical and architectural structures in space. Using the natural physics of fluids in a zero-gravity environment, LiquiFab shapes liquid polymers into smooth, complex 3D forms—without the layer-by-layer constraints of traditional 3D printing. The exhibition showcases these fluid-formed elements, created in a neutral buoyancy environment that simulates weightlessness, alongside video footage of experiments conducted aboard the International Space Station.

Cosmodernism
The Abstract Beauty of Liquid Interfaces
Video installation by Kamil Czapiga
Laboratory
Kamil Czapiga’s Cosmodernism is an intermedia art project that transforms microscopic and cosmic perspectives into mesmerizing abstract video art. Through empirical experimentation with liquids, chemicals, dyes, and micro film sets, he creates intricate visuals that appear almost computer-generated. Coupled with original soundtracks, his work bridges the micro and macro worlds, revealing an unseen beauty that transcends perception.
