Drivers and Constraints in the Emergence of Multilevel Societies Toward a Unified Theory in the Animal Kingdom
- Informations
-
The morning session on February 18 is open to the public and participation is free of charge with no registration needed.
The rest of the event will be open exclusively to invited participants.
This workshop aims to bridge gaps in the emerging theory of multilevel animal societies, bringing together researchers from diverse fields—ranging from humans to birds, primates, cetaceans, and insects. Participants will collaborate to develop a shared language, unify concepts, and advance the theory. Additionally, the workshop will focus on outlining a scientific paper that introduces a new framework and novel predictions for understanding and studying complex animal societies in the wild.
